The Curious Mouse
It is mentioned once that a small mouse lived in a burrow, whose name was Milo. Milo had a soft heart and he had a curious spirit that often led him on adventures beyond the safety of his cozy burrow. In that forest lived a lion who was the king of the jungle.
Encounter with the Lion
One bright morning Milo came out of his burrow so he could explore the forest. As he began to scampered along the forest floor, he found the lion sleeping peacefully Milo saw the lion and came close to investigate him and saw his hairs. Milo started playing with him and jumped on the lion’s head.
A Promise of Mercy
The lion woke up suddenly and grabbed Milo. It roared at him while holding him tight. The mouse began to squeak and started begging for mercy. Milo begged with the lion, promising that if he granted mercy and leave his life, one day he would repay by helping the lion. The lion was happy with the words of Milo and left him.
Milo’s Brave Act: Saving the Lion
One day, when the tiger was wandering in the forest, it got caught in a trap which was set by a hunter. King of jungle, the lion tried to cut the net but failed, and he start roaring. Milo heard the roar of the lion and ran to help him. The rat went into the trap with its sharp teeth. He did started cutting the net with his sharp teeth. He got up and cut the entire net and freed the lion. And the lion thanked him for his help and admits that he took Milo’s first offer for granted but now realizes that everyone needs help at some point.
