Al-Kahaf Story of 7 Mens:
Introduction:
This story from the Quran, It is located in Surah Kahf which is in Para 15 to Para 16 in Quran pak. It is about the Youth (7 young men) who left their homes in order to protect their Deen. They hide themselves in the cave and call upon Allah. Allah (SWT) responded to their Duas and then (How we cast a cover of sleep over their ears within the cave for a number of years). Imagine they are in the cave in self-isolation, and Allah (SWT) granted them such security that they fell asleep.
First step to Allah:
They decided to hide themselves in a cave and expected Allah’s Mercy.So, we need to check what we expect from Allah.What kind of Duas do we make when we are in hardships? (Allah (SWT) said I’m as my servants think I’m) (And had you been present, you would have seen the sun when it rose, inclining away from their cave) They would be un disturbed by the light of the sun, which is why they comfortably slept. The cave was airy and roomy. That was the sign of Allah. So the fact is Allah (SWT) guides his servants in every situation. But we have to ask for the guidance to take the first step.
sleep safe from dangers:
These people slept in the cave for a very long time, and how come nobody woke them? If anybody ever came to the mouth of the cave, they would be afraid of seeing these people sleeping in the cave wet her there was night or day, whether there’s cold or hot these men these Youth were sound asleep safe from all the dangers that were outside the cave and this happen so for many years.Allah (SWT) gave them security when they were surrounded by hardships, and Allah (SWT) is capable of doing that . When you see only hardships and difficulties around you, Allah (SWT) is capable of granting you peace and calmness, but you have to take the first steps towards Him .
After 300 Years:
Allah (SWT) awaken them after 300 years . They question one an and its is said that when they fell asleep. It was the beginning of the day, When they awake up they said they sleep for a day or a part of the day. They sent one person to bring food with silver coin. When he went to buy food the money was ancient and this is how they know they were missing. So this revealed the truth of the religion upon they were. If Allah cause them to awake after 300 years and preserve their bodies Allah is able to do anything. So very soon after that these Youth they actually died so people wonder what should they do so they built a structure over their graves .
