The Tale of the Ant and Dove
Once upon a time, in a forest, there lived the ant and dove, who were good friends. During a scorching summer day, the ant was on the lookout for water. After wandering for a while, she approached the river. In order to drink the water, she ascended a small rock. In her attempt to drink water, she slipped and plunged into the river.
A dove perched on a tree branch witnessed the ant’s fall into the river. Swiftly, the dove plucked a leaf and dropped it into the river, close to the struggling antt. The ant advanced towards the leaf, then ascended onto it. Shortly after, the leaf drifted to a dry area, allowing the ant to leap out. She gazed up at the tree and expressed her gratitude to the dove.
A Heroic Act of the Ant
After a few days, a hunter came to the forest. After observing him for a while, she discerned that he was a hunter, aiming his gun at someone. Before long, she understood that the hunter intended to shoot her friend, the dove, perched on a nearby tree! The dove was resting, completely unaware of the approaching hunter.
The ant, remembering the dove’s kindness, hurried to help. The ant swiftly gave the hunter a bite on the foot. Because of pain, the hunter missed his target. Observing the situation, the dove promptly flew off. The duve was grateful and thanked the ant for saving its life.
