Story of Namrood and Ibrahim

Management of catastrophic fires:

When King Nimrod (Verily, Allah is King) saw that Ibrahim islam (peace be upon him) was busy preaching day and night and giving the message of the oneness of Allah to the people and because of this Nimrod’s popularity was also decreasing, Nimrod decided that Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) Peace should be burned alive. He ordered his men to fill the appointed place with wood and light a good fire in it so that Ibrahim (peace be upon him) could be thrown into the fire alive.

A bird’s love for Ibraham a.s

When namrud king decided to burn Ibrahim (peace be upon him) alive, wood was collected from the forest and the fire was ignited. The flames were talking to the sky. He used to fly and tell all the news to Fahta, because of the smoke that night, Fakhta (Dove) inquired about it from owl. Nimrod islam replied that Khalilullah had been ordered to be burned alive, Fakhta started screaming, then she flew and filled water with her beak from the nearby spring and poured it on the fire for a long time, as a result , her wings were severly burned.
At last, fakhta exhausted on her nest and the owl was watching the whole incident under his nest. Fakhta was taking her last breath and said, “I am not ashamed for the Day of Judgment, I have done as many times as I had, and Fakhta died and her children were also in her nest.”

The cooling of fire for Ibrahim a.s:

When Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was thrown into the burning fire, by the command of Allah, the fire cooled down and it did not even harm Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Seeing this whole incident, the followers of Nimrod also brought Islam to Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

Death of Nimrood:

Moral of story:

From the Ibrahim a.s story in Quran we get a lesson/moral that we must take part in good deeds as much as we can, as when a little girl saw that the Prophet of Allah, Hazrat Ibrahim, peace be upon him, was going to be thrown into the fire, she threw herself into the fire. He tried to extinguish the fire by filling his beak with water. 2 We should never be proud of ourselves, like Nimrod, when some worldly power came to him, he claimed to be God and denied his Creator, and God made a small mosquito the cause of his death. .
